In addition to the existing treatments – Maldivian, global and outdoor massages, scrubs & wraps, manicures & pedicures, facials and full body treatments, as well as Yoga and Wellness packages – the Veli Spa menu has expanded with the below treatments:
Lumbo Theyo Dhemun: this full body herb-infused oil massage has been developed to reduce stiff, tense muscles and is followed by a body wrap. The oils used to perform this treatment are part of a secret recipe developed by Maldivian healers alongside our Spa Manager Mrs. Aishath Zulfishan.

Hilot and Malay Fusion Massage: this treatment focuses on ancient methods passed down through generations of Filipino and Malay cultures, the techniques of which help improve the emotional, physical and spiritual well-being of guests. Warmed coconut or herbal oil are placed over the body with banana leaves to reduce tension, imbalances and blockages in the body.

The team works with male and female qualified photographers, specializing in portraiture and family shoots, amongst other photo services. These customarily cater for weddings, honeymoons, Renewal of Vows and family getaways.

Guests can enjoy a personalized photography session at their convenience and are then invited to view an array of their photos in the comfort and privacy of a dedicated viewing lounge at Majaa Recreation. After this viewing, guests are able to choose from customized albums, digital packages and other products to purchase as cherished gifts.
The Photo Studio is open daily 08:30-17:30 hrs. and offers flexible timings for photo shoots upon request, such as sunset shots or private dinners.

Ryszard Majewski originally comes from Cape Town, South Africa and has worked internationally across a variety of properties in Africa, America, Europe, Middle East and Asia.
His specialty fields include increasing revenue, guest satisfaction, increasing staff morale and developing new projects.

This meeting space caters for up to 200 guests in a variety of layouts. In addition, The VIP lounge is connected to the main conference hall and can be divided into two spaces. Suitable for up to 60 guests, this space is perfect for breakouts, a rest area for speakers or for smaller meetings.
