In recent years Maldives has attracted professional surfers, having hosted International surfing competitions which put her as a world surfing destination. It is also a major plus that the waters are warm, making the destination all the more idyllic and inviting.
Centara Ras Fushi Resort & Spa Maldives is organizing private Dhoni charters starting from USD550 for guests seeking for an exotic getaway with great-quality surfing in the pristine lagoon.
The adult-oriented resort is located in the North Malé Atoll, which is closeby to the most popular and where you could get access to a number of excellent breaks in the Maldives.
With waves ranging from 3ft to more than 8ft, the conditions are perfect for surfing offshore from many of the islands close to the resort, during the months of May to November.

Centara Ras Fushi Resort will organize a private charter at USD550 for four hours or USD1,000 for eight hours, including a lunch box and soft drinks. Maximum at these rates is four participants, with an extra person being charged USD85. A scheduled Surfing Safari is also available for four hours for a minimum of four guests, at USD85 per person. The pricing is valid until 31 December 2014 and is subject to service charge and GST.
Guests are advised to take their own equipment for all surfing excursions. The surfing points are suitable for surfers rated at mid-level, advanced and expert levels.
