Behind the local talent Manje

Mariyam Shany Ahmed, (artist alias “Manje”) is a Maldivian self taught artist mostly working with watercolors, acrylics, inks and graphite mediums. Her work is characterized by beautiful faces of women integrated with intricate patterns inspired by cultural elements of Maldives and Malaysia coupled with detailed elements of flora, fauna, and underwater beauty. Her main inspiration is derived from various fairy tale and mythological characters, natural elements, as well as fantasy works from world renowned fantasy artists of past and present.

Apple Woo new Director of Sales & Marketing of Outrigger Konotta

A Singaporean national, Ms Apple Woo has be appointed as the Director of Sales and Marketing of Outrigger Konotta Maldives Resort. Woo joined Outrigger on the first of February and will be based in the Outrigger Asia Pacific office in Phuket, Thailand. She will directly report to Pascal Billon, the General Manager and on key marketing and sales initiatives to Mark Simmons Vice President of Sales and Marketing of Outrigger Asia Pacific.
